Hi! I’m Sarah. I thrive on organized chaos and the perfectly imperfect. I guarantee that you’ll never see pictures of my house, dinner, outfit or the crafts I do with my three kids on Pinterest. I love to laugh, like wine a little too much and will never give up carbs. I frequently stay up all night to finish a good book or watch an entire season of a television series and would rather drink wine with my best friends at home, wearing yoga pants than get dressed up and go somewhere fancy. I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I graduated from college with a degree in social work and went on to get a masters degree but the need for a job drove those decisions, not passion or love for the work. Photography changed that. It started as hobby, something that brought me joy in the midst of newborn and toddler chaos, and felt like it was my own. Ten years later, I’m incredibly thankful to be where I am. Photography just might be the best job in the world.
I consider it a privilege to be the person who captures your family’s story. My goal is to create images that do more than just show what your family looks like at this point in time. I create images that take you back to a moment in time that is forever gone, and make you feel like you are there again. Years from now, I want you to look at the images we made together and hear the sound of your child’s laughter or even their tears. I want you to be able to tell what they’re thinking from the twinkle in their eye or smile on their face. I want you to relive that moment all over again.
