Waiting | Natick MA Maternity Photographer

I think most women who have more than one child would agree that each pregnancy is filled with wonder, excitement and joy. But nothing compares to how you feel the first time, when it’s all so new and you’re anxiously waiting for the baby who has already captured your heart and dreams to fill your arms as well. This morning I had the pleasure of meeting Jess and David for a maternity session in their home. They’re expecting their first child in just five weeks. Jess looks amazing. Really amazing. She has that glow that you hear about (but that I don’t think I ever actually experienced :)). Her husband David reminded me of a little boy waiting to open birthday presents. There’s a twinkle in his eye and his smile was so heartfelt. They’re a wonderful couple and I can’t wait to see them again for their newborn session.

I don’t usually get anything posted this soon after a session, but Jess had to go to work after I left and I could tell that she would have much rather stayed at home. So here’s one for you Jess! I love how the two of you are looking at each other. Thanks for sharing this happy time with me.

Love | Topsfield MA Maternity Photographer

The last time I photographed Sandi and her family was almost two years ago, just a few days before she had a brain tumor removed. Two years later, she’s in good health and having her third baby girl in just a few weeks. We met last night at Lynch Park and had a wonderful time playing on the beach, photographing her family and her belly. Just wait till you see the rest from this session. Sandi is simply stunning.

I wanted to share this one now though because I know it will make Sandi smile. Being a mom is the hardest job, but tender moments like this one remind us that it’s the best job and those of us who get to do it, are blessed.

Hang in there my friend. She’ll be here soon.

Summer | Wenham MA Family Photographer

The N family and I tried to do this session several times during the month of June.

However, each time we scheduled it, the weather would dip down into the low 50’s and with winds that made it feel much cooler. Since beach pictures with everyone wearing sweaters and chattering teeth were not what we had in mind, we waited for summer to really get here. It was worth it! We had a perfect night at Lynch Park in Beverly.
