Tyler | Wenham MA newborn photographer

Tyler is almost eight weeks old and weighs in at fourteen pounds! Much too big too scrunch up in a ball, put silly hats on and take sleepy newborn pictures of but perfect for wide eyed, totally awake and super adorable shots. Thanks Michael and Trisha for a great morning. We got some really cute ones today!

After the session | Boxford MA Family Photographer

Yesterday I spent the afternoon doing mini sessions for some of my best friends in a beautiful meadow behind my friend Esther’s house in Boxford . While I was attempting to get a shot of my own three kids, I turned around and saw that Esther’s girls had changed out of their “picture outfits” and into a tutu and a much too big, Asian inspired, dressing gown. I forgot all about my quest for the perfect picture of my own kids and started shooting them again. I absolutely love how they came out and had to share just one.

Thanks for a great afternoon Es!

Sarah Phillips Photography may take over your barn in the near future! Your property is a photographer’s dream.

Alli | Topsfield MA senior photographer

Just one from Friday’s senior session because I am sure that Alli and her mom are anxious to see. Can you believe how amazing her eyes are? I didn’t touch them. They are really that sparkly and beautiful! Thanks for a fun night Alli and Nicole!

I loved meeting you guys and can’t wait to show you the rest of your session.

One | Beverly MA Child and Family Photographer

One of my favorite things about my job is that I meat the nicest people and am lucky enough to end up calling them my friends. I met Nancy and Gabe at the end of last summer when Nancy was 38 weeks pregnant for a maternity session. I’m sure we were quite the spectacle at Lynch Park that night as I was 36 weeks pregnant myself. I instantly loved Nancy. What’s not to love about a pregnant woman in red heels who will do a stag jump for you? Yup, you read that right. She did a stag jump. And I, with my very large 36 week pregnant belly got down on the ground to get the shot.

A little less than two weeks later, I saw Nancy and Gabe again when we got together at their home for their son Leo’s newborn session. I have never seen two people as in love with each other and their new baby as they were (and are). Leo didn’t sleep a wink for our entire session. He also didn’t let his mom or dad put him down for more than 2.8 minutes. We got some beautiful pictures of them hanging out and of Leo breast feeding though. Their session is one of my favorites to date.

Over the past year, Nancy and I have become friends. We’ve enjoyed more than a few cups of tea (we may or may not have worn large hats and put our babies in ties once), gone for walks and spent hours at Cassis chatting over coffee and whatever sweet thing struck our fancy. A few weeks ago, Leo turned one and it was with great pleasure that I photographed their family again, starting at their home and then back to Lynch Park for a few more.
