Sweet sisters + a beautiful beach + beautiful light = pure magic.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend Joelle’s beautiful Rockport wedding. There are so many beautiful images from the day and I can’t wait to share them all but for now, here’s one of my favorites of Joelle, and her daughters just before the ceremony. You’d never know that these girls haven’t been together forever. They’re family in every sense of the word and their happiness makes me so happy.

An hour before this session the sky turned black and there was thunder and lightning. We talked about trying to reschedule but this family was only in town for a few more days and we couldn’t find a time that worked for both of us. So we went for it and I’m so glad we did. The sky was SO beautiful and these sweet girls were just amazing to work with.

All of my kids are too big to hold like this so I’m thinking about getting a dog.

The first time I photographed these girls at Tuck’s Point, the youngest was a toddler. Fast forward four years and the oldest is almost as tall as me and has a bigger foot. Why do they have to get so big so fast?
