I do have other kids.

However, lately whenever I attempt to take their picture it turns out something like this. Or worse.
week 20 2

As people watch me photograph their children, they often comment that I’m the most incredibly patient person that they’ve ever met. I smile and nod but inside I’m laughing. The truth is, when it comes to taking their pictures, I’m no more patient with my kids than you are with yours. So I go for the easy target. Josh. He turned eight months old yesterday and can’t quite get away from me yet. I’m also his favorite person in the world and his face lights up every time he sees me.

I think spring is here!

Warm weather, green everywhere and little men hanging out in their onesies. Life is good.

Are you tired of him yet? He turned 7 months this week. It’s bittersweet. I’m happy that he’s sleeping better and finally interested in eating “food” but I kind of wish I could slow it all down a little too.

On Wednesday morning, my husbands father and one of the best grandpa’s ever went home to be with the Lord.

It’s been a hard and sad week and I haven’t taken any pictures. Grace had ballet this morning and I brought my camera, hoping to get something cute. Josh was soooooo tired and cranky until he discovered his new, favorite toy. My Omni-Bounce. He sat and chewed on it for a good twenty minutes. I got some great shots of Grace but this was by far my favorite for the week. Joshua Charles, named for his grandpa, chewing on a flash diffuser in a sea of pink and purple ballerina splendor.
