Alice in Wonderland, part one | Boston Event Photographer

This summer Princess Sharon got in touch with me and asked if I would be willing to volunteer to photograph an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party for little girls who are being treated at Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic. Of course the only answer was yes.

Having had the pleasure of attending a Princess Sharon Musical Princess Tea party last winter, I knew that the party would be wonderful and completely, over the top, fabulous . However, I was truly amazed when I walked into the Salon Du Soleil at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset. The room is lovely, but with the help of some amazing vendors who donated their products and services, Sharon brought on the sparkle as only she can and transformed it into a magical Wonderland. I think you’ll agree.

The amazing cake! Created and donated by Amanda Oakleaf.

I leave with you with this little gem of some of the girls waiting to come into the party. It pretty much says it all.

Pictures of these amazing girls and their moms at the tea party are coming soon!

This isn’t the best picture but it’s the biggest thing that happened this week so I’m sharing it.

First day of 1st grade. I can’t believe it.

I’m proud of you Sam. I feel so incredibly blessed to be your mom.

Better late than never | Boston maternity photographer

Where did the summer go? I’ve had so many great sessions over the past two months and my goal is to get them all blogged over the next few weeks. Hopefully once my kids are back in school, I’ll have a little more time to devote to the blog.

Remember this sneak peek from almost two months ago? Sandi has long since had her baby girl (Wait to you see her newborn pictures! She is perfection.). Here are a few more from her maternity session.

Summer Night | Ipswich MA Family Photographer

It’ s hard to believe that

summer is already almost over. I feel like we were just anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first week of July and our camping trip to Vermont and now I’m gearing up for the first day of school. It went by too fast! A few weeks ago, I spent the evening with the gorgeous Gibeley family at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. Here are a few of my favorites.
