This is one of my BFF Bex’s daughter S and my J. Her mom and I met in college. We dated best friends. We broke up. We lived together in a cute apartment in a sketchy neighborhood in Salem after we graduated. We hung out at a local bar and drank cheep beer often. One night two cute guys that we had never seen before came in. We flirted with them. We dated them. And eventually, we married them. Now Bex lives around the corner from me. Bet ween the two of us

we have seven kids.

I love this picture for so many reasons. I love the light. I love S’s serious face and how peaceful J looks. Most of all, I love the history and future that it represents. I think I can speak for Bex when I say that when we met fifteen years ago, we couldn’t have guessed where life was going to take us or how good it was going to be.

Those of you who know my daughter, know this face well. It’s SO her. This was taken during breakfast this week.

She was sitting ON TOP of the table eating her cereal and when I pulled out my camera she got very annoyed.

Just for laughs, she just came in, told me, “Mommy, Santa didn’t bring you any presents this year because you’re always so naughty.” and left. She’s such a sweetie…..

I made three New Years resolutions this year. Run three times a week, be more intentional about spending time with friends and shoot for ME more. As long as I run twice tomorrow and again on Saturday, I’m doing great! Here’s the first picture in my 2010 collection; J’s feet. He’s already three months old and I’ve been meaning to get a shot like this since he was born (you know what they say about the cobbler’s kids?). I’m finding three kids to be incredibly challenging. J rarely sleeps and hates to be put down and I find that I don’t pick my camera up as much as I should. This shot isn’t perfect, I wish you could see his miniscule toe nails on that top foot better, but sometimes, a less than perfect shot is better than no shot at all.

Those little feet get bigger every day.

He couldn’t be cuter | Ipswich MA Children’s Photographer

This weekend I got to hang out with a pretty cool and very fun five year old.

We had a lot of fun being silly together and caught some great smiles in the process. Hope you had fun in the snow after I left B!

Beautiful Sisters | Ipswich MA Children’s Photographer

Yesterday, we woke up to a couple of unexpected (I didn’t know it was going to snow!) inches of snow. I hate snow but I have to admit, getting to capture a moment like this with these two beauties is almost enough to make me change my mind. Don’t they look like little snow pr incesses

in a winter wonderland?
